Mindfulness simply means paying attention what what's happening right now with kindness and curiosity (so we can choose what to do next)! It's a way to practice seeing what's happening in our heads and bodies without getting overwhelmed, without reacting in ways we regret later.  Being a parent/caregiver is amazing and also can be extremely stressful, especially when combined with the many demands on our shoulders each day, our feelings about the past, and our worries about the future.  Mindfulness is one set of tools and practices that enable us to cope with stress, respond with compassion, and stay connected to our kids and our partners.  

Join us for practices, education, and connection. The location is in Leschi and the address will be provided after registration. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
