How to Make Mindfulness Part of Your Family Routine, featuring Kara-Lee and Tai, Foundry 10 News, 2021

"When my oldest nephews were really young, they enjoyed practicing mindful eating, listening, and gratitude practices with me. I thought they had outgrown it forever as they got older and we stopped. Now that they are both in 20's, they have regular practices of their own. This is a reminder to all of us that we are planting seeds that can grow and can last over time. Whether you are sharing mindfulness practices with kids at school, in after school programs, or at home, these practices have ripple effects that can impact the whole community" - Kara-Lee Ruotolo, Space Between

Space Between Supports the Mental Health of Communities, One Deep Breath at a Time, featuring Kara-Lee and Tai, Foundry 10 News, 2021

“We are all connected. How we show up and move through the world affects other people. Think about a person who can light up a room. Think about  a person who walks into a room and is in a bad  mood. Think about a person who exudes calm. You  can see it on their face and in their body language. The more mindful we are, the more we are aware of how we impact others,  and also how others impact us. We also become more aware of our own thoughts and emotions and how to manage them.”
