Refine the Source to Change Outcomes

​Since the 1980s, mindfulness, and yoga as a component of that practice, has been studied both in medical and mental health settings. Since 2000, the explosion of more rigorous research has provided strong evidence that mindful practices, even in short increments, can change the way the brain fires, offering many benefits such as:
  • Increased self-awareness and self-regulation
  • Reduced behavior problems & enhanced executive functioning
  • Lowered stress & blood pressure (heart disease is on the rise in children)
  • Improved sleep
  • Support of treatment of depression, anxiety and eating disorders
