Supporting You and Your Students
February 3, 2021, 7:00 - 8:30 pm, via Zoom, 1.5 Clock Hours Are you a MS or HS teacher, instructional assistant, counselor, coach, or tutor? Are you interested in learning more about mindfulness and how it might create more well-being for both you and your students? Join us for a 1.5 hour professional learning introduction to mindfulness, with WA state clock hours (1.5), sponsored by Forefront Suicide Prevention.
Instructors
Kim Armstrong, Executive Director of Space Between, MA Psychology, Experienced Registered Yoga teacher, including teen and children studies. Coursework in teaching mindfulness through Mindful Schools, The Center for Adolescent Studies, and other programs.
Kara-Lee Ruotolo, Director of Teaching and Learning of Space Between. Masters in Education and Mental Health Counseling, Certification of completion of Youth Mental Health First Aid from Seattle Children's, 95 Hour Registered Kids and Family Yoga Instructor, In process of Mindful Teacher certification through Mindful Schools and 2020 graduate of their year-long training.
Tai Velasquez, Director of Community Engagement of Space Between. Certified meditation teacher and certified vibrational sound therapist. Coursework in teaching children through Mindful Schools, Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, and other programs.
